Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary to support the administrative functions of the institution. The ideal candidate will handle clerical tasks, manage communication, and ensure smooth daily operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as handling correspondence, filing, and scheduling meetings.
- Maintain records, reports, and official documents accurately.
- Assist in coordinating academic and departmental activities.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
- Prepare official letters, reports, and memos as required.
- Support faculty and staff with documentation and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in an educational institution or maritime environment is an advantage.
